When Ryan and I shoot weddings together, we always decide on who will be the lead shooter based on the personalities of the clients. Ryan is more laid back and professional and I'm more high energy and humorous. After our first meeting with Brooke and Dave, I remember walking out to the car and Ryan said to me "If they book, they are your clients". From our first conversation, I just knew brooke would be a blast to work with since she has the best laugh and that is my kind of person! I love happy, giggly brides who have men who love that about them.
Fast forward almost a year to their wedding and it went just as I had imagined. Great people typically have super lovely friends and family and that couldn't have been more true here. The way her friends looked at her all done up would make any bride feel special and loved. As usual, Dave is the perfect compliment for her cheery attitude towards life and it's just so obvious how much they adore each other. It's just so great to be around people like that.
Although it was freezing and windy, a "glorious combination", we had such an awesome day and are so happy to have been a part of it.
The Radisson is an awesome hotel for so many reasons. It's centrally located to lots of good spots for shooting sessions so it's all walkable, the ballroom is super beautiful and their lobby has some of the coolest things in it with all these chain drapes and crazy lights.
Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year for one big reason. TWINKLY LIGHTS EVERYWHERE! Why can't we have this all year round? As a society, I think we need to make it happen because it's just so magical.
If I would have only known that this was happening and how awesome it would be, I would have taken video of it. I think when people dance, they don't often really commit to what they are doing and that's when dancing is unfortunate, haha. That wasn't the case here, they went into this CONFIDENTLY and it was awesome in every single way.
