Every now and then small weddings come my way and it's always fun to do something so simple and different. Brian and Shauna got married at the Kentwood Community Church in Grand Rapids and it just so happened to be super beautifully landscaped. Seriously, this awesome tree looks like it's from some crazy whimsical forest, not a church parking lot.
They had a small ceremony inside with close friends and family, group shots with everyone and then we just took a little walk around the building and got some awesome shots of just the two of them. After shooting so many weddings over the years, it's always interesting to see all the different kinds and to see what works for each couple. There is always something new and different and I love how it keeps things interesting. It's always fun to work with people who are just kind and laid back and enjoying what is happening. Even if it's not a massive wedding with 300 people, it's still such a big day because a new family is created and that is just the best thing ever.
