I am having the best month as far as photographing little babies are concerned. It's always fun to get to know new parents and see the way they care for their little baby. Everything is new and everything revolves around this tiny little human and I think it's great.
They tried so hard to get Cecelia to laugh and she would only do it when I wasn't around. It's like she knew what I was trying to accomplish and was having none of it. Babies and their sassy personalities is one of my favorite things about my job though. Her pudgy little cheeks and killer hair make up for her lack of giggling for my camera.
I love working in a client's home for many reasons, but one of those reasons is this shot. I think it's a great snippet of life surrounded by things that are personal to them. I just think it holds more memories.
When Bethany said she wanted some shots in this onesie... well I was filled with glee. haha I enjoy this so much! And of course, it wouldn't be a family blog if I didn't have a photo of a parent laughing at their crying baby. Those are always my favorite shots because the one before it was taken about 10 seconds prior and nobody really knows what made her cry. Babies are just the most mysterious kinds of humans.
KARATE CHOP!
Since halloween was right around the corner, she also had her first costume, which was a cute little candy corn. I feel like this hat could be worn for many occasions though.
Per usual, the session ends when we have enough but mostly when we have worn out this little baby. She zonked out in like 5 minutes. There is only so much energy you can hold in such a tiny body. :) It was an absolute pleasure to shoot this family and get to spend the afternoon which such an adorable little baby girl. I wish I could do this every single day!
