These mini sessions are a blast. I love the adrenaline rush of working fast since it's only a 30 minute session and it keeps a good mojo going since there is no awkwardness because it's all so high energy. I absolutely love this session and this family is just so adorable. You'd certainly never know it from these photos, but little Henry is 6 months old and was born with cancer and in his very short life so far, has beat it and is doing great! Upon meeting them, I just would never have guessed he has been sick and gone through so much. He was so laid back, didn't cry once even though it was really cold and I was just super impressed with what a sweet baby he is.
However, it doesn't surprise me that he is so happy because he has such loving parents. Watching how they interacted with him was so funny. The noises his dad made to get him to laugh were both hilarious and very familar since we make those same noises to get Duma to take good pictures, haha! It was a joy to photograph this family and I am so pumped for the rest of the mini sessions over the next couple of weeks!
This session was shot in Grand Haven and since that is close to where we live, we are keeping the $100 deal going until December 9th and you can book one for this location anytime. Grand Rapids is happening on November 28th and Kalamazoo on December 5th and 6th. Grab a time while you still can, we are going back to regular session prices after December 9th!
