I had some time to kill before a wedding in Kalamazoo yesterday and figured I would open up a couple mini sessions to fill the afternoon. It was pretty last minute, but apparently Leah thrives on that so it all worked out! :) This was actually really fun so I decided to keep it going until December 10th.

Muskegon is actually only 1 1/2 hours from Kalamazoo and about 50 minutes from Grand Rapids so it's really not that far away considering it's such a great deal on the session. Winter is in full swing out here and it's still all fluffy and magical. From now until December 10th I am pretty much on a break so I can shoot on short notice as well and turn around time for photos is 2 days so you will have time to get things printed for Christmas.
These mini sessions are also open in Florida if your around the places we will be traveling (treasure island, west palm beach and key west). Our trip is is the 14th - 20th of December.
Anyways.. with ALL that said... meet the Sleight Family! Ava is a fast little one and started out so happy! It wasn't until she was freezing that she gave in, haha. It's so hard to stay warm when you are so tiny. But in that small amount of time, we were able to get some great things. Running around so much is probably what was keeping her warm.
She was cold and crying and then a squirrel BOLTED out from somewhere and she was instantly happy and excited about the squirrel, then it left and she was devastated, haha. This all happened in about 60 seconds. :) For some reason. I really love the mysterious man in the hat here. Kids can always sense when we are almost done and they always give the best smiles and such right at the end. It's a magical 5 minutes where the best photos are always taken it seems like. :)
